These are our current starting prices per person for Umrah trips from LAX. Prices are based on quad sharing, which means four people in one room.

A 5-night trip is 3 nights in Makkah and 2 in Madinah. A 7-night trip is 4 nights in Makkah and 3 in Madinah. A 10-night trip is 5 and 5. Prices go up during Ramadan and late December, when flights and hotels cost more. Call us with your dates, and we'll give you an exact price the same day.

Our most booked level. Hotels are closer to the Haram, with bigger rooms and a breakfast option. Most families choose this one.

5-Star Umrah Packages

Hotels like the Sheraton Makkah Jabal Al Kaaba and Crowne Plaza Madinah are a short walk from the mosque doors. This is the best choice for older parents or anyone who has trouble walking far.

You can also mix levels, like a 4-star in Makkah and a 5-star in Madinah.

Flights from Los Angeles to Jeddah and Madinah

Most one-stop flights from LAX to Jeddah take 19 to 24 hours, including the layover. Common routes connect through Istanbul on Turkish Airlines, Doha on Qatar Airways, or Dubai on Emirates. There is no nonstop flight from LAX to Jeddah right now. Saudia flew this route in the past but paused it in 2026.

Three things LA travelers should know:

• Time difference. Makkah is 10 hours ahead of Los Angeles for most of the year and 11 hours ahead in winter. Plan an easy first day.
• Ihram. Flights into Jeddah cross the miqat in the air. Put on your ihram at your layover airport or before the last leg. The crew usually makes an announcement before the miqat.
• Other airports. If you live closer to Burbank, John Wayne, Ontario, or San Diego, we can add a short connecting flight. The long international leg will still leave from LAX or another major hub.

Umrah Visa for Los Angeles Travelers

Your visa is part of the package. Most U.S. passport holders can travel for Umrah on a Saudi eVisa, which is issued online. If you hold another passport or a green card, tell us and we'll check which visa you need.

We'll ask for a passport valid for at least six months, a passport photo, and a few details for the form. We'll file it for you and send you the visa by email. Best Time to Go for Umrah from Los Angeles

November through February is the easiest time. Days in Makkah are in the 80s instead of well over 100, and crowds are lighter outside school holidays.
