There are three visas that let you perform Umrah from the USA. The right one depends on your passport and how often you plan to go.

Every price is per person and includes the Saudi government fee, required medical insurance, and our service fee. There are no added charges at the end. If your passport is not on this list, call 332-334-0324 and we will give you a price the same day.
The price covers the Saudi government fee, required medical insurance, and our service fee. Government fees are not refundable once your application is filed. If you book one of our USA Umrah packages, the visa is part of the package price.
How to apply for an Umrah visa online
You can do the whole thing from home. Nothing needs to be mailed.
- Contact us. Call or WhatsApp with your travel dates and the number of travelers.
- Send your documents. Take clear photos of your passport, your photo, and your vaccine record, and send them by WhatsApp or email.
- We check your file. We match every name, date, and passport number before anything is filed.
- We book your stay. Saudi rules require a confirmed hotel and transport booking before an Umrah visa is issued.
- You pay. You get a receipt for every payment.
- You get your visa. We email the visa to you and help you set up your Nusuk permit.
You can also apply for the tourist eVisa on your own at visa.visitsaudi.com. Many travelers still come to us because a wrong name or date can get an application rejected, and the fee is not returned.
Umrah visa requirements
Have these ready before you apply:
- Passport valid for at least 6 months from your travel date, with 2 blank pages
- One recent photo with a white background
- Meningitis (ACWY) vaccine record, with the shot taken at least 10 days before you arrive
- Round-trip flight booking
- Hotel booking in Makkah or Madinah
- Green card or US visa copy if you do not hold a US passport
Children need their own visa. Bring a birth certificate for anyone under 18.
Who can apply for an Umrah visa from the USA?
- US citizens
- Green card holders
- People in the US on a student, work, or visit visa
- Women traveling alone or in a group. A male guardian is not required.
Only Muslims may enter Makkah. This is a Saudi government rule.
When to apply
Apply 3 to 4 weeks before you fly. An Umrah visa must be used within 30 days of the day it is issued, so do not apply too early either.
For the 2026 to 2027 season, Umrah visas are expected to be issued until early March 2027, with all pilgrims leaving by early April 2027 before Hajj. Tourist visa holders cannot enter Makkah during the Hajj period. Ramadan is the busiest time of year, so book early if you want to go then. See our Ramadan Umrah packages.

What are the new Umrah visa rules for 2026?
An Umrah visa must now be used within 30 days of issue. After you enter, you can stay up to 90 days. In July 2026, Saudi Arabia also launched a multiple-entry Umrah visa that is valid for 365 days.
How much does a 7-day Umrah visa cost?
There is no separate 7-day visa. The visa fee is the same whether you stay 7 days or 30. What changes with a shorter trip is your hotel and package cost.
Can I apply for an Umrah visa online by myself?
Yes. You can apply for the tourist eVisa at visa.visitsaudi.com. A standard Umrah visa is issued with a service package from an approved provider, which is where an agency comes in.
How long does it take to get an Umrah visa?
Most visas filed through Qiblatain are approved within 1 to 3 business days. Allow extra time before Ramadan, when Saudi processing slows down.
Can women perform Umrah without a mahram?
Yes. Women can register for and perform Umrah without a male guardian.
Can green card holders get an Umrah visa from the USA?
Yes. Green card holders can apply from the USA. Send us a copy of your passport and green card, and we will tell you which visa fits your nationality.
