- Before Hajj: You stay in a normal hotel in Makkah (and Medina, depending on your route). You pray at the Haram and settle in.
- 7th–8th of Dhul Hijjah: You check out of your Makkah hotel. Your large luggage goes to the Aziziya apartment. You take a small carry-on bag to Mina.
